Lampside collects nothing.

No account. No email. No analytics. No tracking. Every session lives on your device only. This page exists because the App Store and Google Play require one — not because there is data to disclose.

The short version.

• Lampside has no accounts. You can’t sign up, because there is nothing to sign up for.
• Lampside has no servers. We don’t operate a backend that holds your data.
• Lampside collects no analytics. No usage tracking, no crash telemetry sent anywhere we can read.
• Lampside requests no permissions beyond optional notifications for the daily reminder, if you turn it on.
• Your sessions, mood check-ins, reflections, favorites, and preferences are stored on your device only. They never leave it. Airplane mode is fine.

What is stored on your device.

When you use Lampside, the app saves the following on your phone’s local storage (AsyncStorage), and nowhere else:

• Your completed sessions (mode, time of day, optional mood, optional one-line reflection)
• Your favorites and settings (sound on/off, reminder time, text size, etc.)
• A flag noting that you’ve completed onboarding

This data is readable only by Lampside on your device. If you delete the app, the data is deleted with it. There is no “export” or “reset” button because there is no cloud copy to reset — removing the app is the reset. See Delete your data for the step-by-step.

Notifications.

If you enable the daily reminder, Lampside schedules a local notification via your phone’s operating system. The reminder fires on-device, on a timer you set. Lampside does not send push notifications and does not have a push server. Disabling the reminder cancels all scheduled notifications.

Children.

Lampside is rated for all ages and is appropriate for children. We collect no data from anyone, including users under 13 — which puts us in compliance with COPPA, GDPR-K, and similar regulations by default.

Third parties.

Lampside does not integrate with any third-party SDK that collects user data. The libraries we use (Expo, React Native, Phosphor Icons, Google Fonts at build time) operate entirely on-device once the app is installed. No data is transmitted to any third party at runtime.

External links.

Settings contains an optional link to an external donation service (Buy Me a Coffee). Tapping it opens your device’s default browser, at which point Buy Me a Coffee’s privacy policy applies, not ours. Lampside itself collects nothing about whether you tap the link or what you do there. The link is the only outbound action in the app — everything else is on-device.

Changes to this policy.

If the data practices ever change (they won’t, but the App Store requires us to say this), we’ll update this page and bump the “Last updated” date below. There is no email list we could notify you on, because we have no email list.
